THE MIRROR - The second single from UNCERTAIN SEAS - is a song about reflection between two people, sharing their perspectives and understandings with each other. At the heart of it, THE MIRROR is a song about relationships and how we need to share our deepest desires, fears, hopes, and dreams with one another, so that we can hear what they think. More deeply, this song is a treatise on the power of communication and intention to help us cultivate meaningful and intentional love with partners, lovers, friends, family, and others. If, at the end of the day, we are not engaged in a process of reflection into our relationships, they cannot shine to their fullest extent. Love, at its core, is a process of reflection, internal and external.
